Gold futures were little changed Thursday morning as traders await a slew of economic data after yesterday’s historic U.S. tax reform.

Gold was down $3 at $1267/oz, holding most of recent gains.

Weekly jobless claims are due at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time, with economists polled by MarketWatch forecasting 230,000 people applied for unemployment benefits.

Also at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, revised GDP data for the third quarter, the Chicago Fed national activity index for November and the Philly Fed manufacturing index for December are due

A report on leading indicators for November is slated for release at 10 a.m. Eastern.
