The Labor Department’s Producer Price Index or PPI for April will be published at 8.30 am ET Wednesday.
Ahead of the data, the greenback dropped against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 106.89 against the yen, 0.9678 against the franc, 1.2323 against the pound and 1.0879 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
