April 21, 2014 – Stock Market News
Today’s Hot Asset – Netflix
Stocks in Asia traded mixed during a relatively quite start to the week. Many markets were still closed due to the holidays and this was cause of the slow start. Stocks in Japan’s technology sector did particularly well, with Toshiba gaining 0.71%. Trading should pick up tomorrow as the markets return to normal tomorrow.
Stocks in the U.S. are on the rise for the fifth consecutive day. Investors are eyeing many company earnings releases due out over the day and they expect a continuation of the positive news. Investors within the region are also looking to rely on stocks for better returns whilst the uncertainty in the commodity market continues. This movement will create lots of great trading opportunities for binary options traders.
Markets in Europe were closed today for the Easter holiday. Markets will re-open tomorrow as normal.
Today’s hot asset is, Netflix. The online movie and TV provider are one of a host of companies releasing their quarterly earnings figure today. Investors will want to take advantage of any short term movements following the release. This should create plenty of short term positions which is why this is my hot asset of the day.
