October 13, 2014 – Stock Market News

In early trade, U.S. stocks are declining once again. The market is still reacting to the downgraded forecast for global growth and comments from the IMF. The S&P 500 is currently at its lowest level since May trading around 1,897.53. Earnings season will begin this week and we are expecting results from companies such as Citigroup, Intel, Johnson & Johnson and Wells Fargo & Co tomorrow.  Despite U.S. stocks remaining open for the day, market volatility is expected to remain low due to the public holiday, Columbus Day.
