Visa, the world’s largest Credit and Debit Card Company, released earnings yesterday after the market closed. The company posted revenue of $3.23 billion which is a 9% increase over the past year. Earnings increased 17% during the past year and came out at $2.18/ share. Shares are currently up 4.12% in the pre-market.
Tesco is down 1.18% as a criminal investigation has been launched into accounting errors by the British Serious Fraud Office. The British Greengrocer overstated first half profit by 263 million Pounds in September. Eight members of staff have been suspended while the investigation occurs.
