Sony Pictures have cancelled the release of ‘The Interview’   after chains decided not to screen the film. The decision comes after Sony was hacked and terror threats were made against theatres. The film depicted the assassination of the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong – un and it is speculated that the Korean government were involved in the hacking. The film cost $44million to produce and the decision is a big defeat.  Many employees are also unhappy after personal information was stolen. They have become the subject of debate with others arguing that they caved into the hackers and it goes against free speech. Sony has lost 100 terabytes of data and is currently fighting 2 lawsuits related to the hacking.

AstraZenica is up 1.78% after the European Commission approved a new drug to give to patients with ovarian cancer. The drug can be issued across all 28 member states and could potentially rake in $2 billion per year.
