After Merrill Lynch recalculated its rating for Netflix and gave it a rating of ‘but,’ Netflix shares soared. Mid-day trading hit a 3% increase on the stock’s opening price, though the lengthy jump trimmed back to a modest 1.92% advance. Shares closed at $565.55, though have continued yesterday’s rally with a 0.18% during premarket trading. This evaluation was brought about by sterling quarterly earnings, where Netflix smashed expectations.
