Microsoft started on a rough patch as earnings were released. Despite beating expectations with a $0.75 reported earnings, Microsoft nevertheless started on a gloomy decline these past few days as prospects for growth were cloudy at best. However, in an attempt to garner further interest among Android and Apple users, Microsoft has made mobile versions of its products free for use, including Word and Excel for Android and Outlook for iPhone and iPad. However, despite this move, Microsoft is still continuing this week’s losses today, though they have paused at 0.25%.
