European markets have opened mostly lower today, as traders took a breather after a three-day winning streak triggered by fresh stimulus measures from the European Central Bank. Earlier today, data indicated that China’s consumer price inflation accelerated in May.

Closer home, investors await today’s industrial and manufacturing production data which is expected to show an improvement in April. Additionally, GDP estimate data from the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) will attract market attention.
