European markets have opened lower today, as investors cautiously await the outcome of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Bank of England (BoE) policy meetings due later in the day.

Closer home, investors would keep a close eye on the release of the UK government’s Autumn Statement. Investors also eagerly await US reports on third-quarter GDP, weekly jobless claims and factory orders slated for release later in the day and monthly jobs report due on Friday to get fresh clues on stimulus outlook.
