European markets have open in the red today, as investors remained cautious ahead of the monetary policy decision from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
Closer home, data from Halifax indicated that house prices in the UK rose less than expected in October. Later today, UK industrial and manufacturing production data along with the NIESR GDP estimate will attract market attention.
