European markets have opened in the green today, amid optimism over potential easing in China. Most of market attention today will be on the outcome of the US Federal Reserve’s monetary policy meeting for cues on the future policy stance.
Closer home, the ILO unemployment rate and claimant count data will be closely eyed to gauge conditions in the UK labour market while the minutes of the Bank of England’s latest policy meeting will be tracked for further cues on the timing of an interest rate hike in the UK.
