The recent drop in metals’ prices have been driven by an unexpected hike in supply and a stronger dollar, rather than a rise in tariffs caused by the trade wars. That’s according to mining expert John Meyer, from SP Angel. Meyer also explains the mechanics of the trade wars and marks out a sympathy with US authorities.
