Having seen an improved outlook published by the IMF, IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor talks to John Meyer from SP Angel about areas to watch.
Meyer highlights the opportunities that stem from the unprecedented levels of stimulus that governments are underwriting and also the push into new areas to ensure that the money is spent on projects that comply with the new green agenda. This, Meyer says, takes us through traditional metals, such as copper, nickel, lithium, cobalt and on into a whole long list of rare earths that will also now benefit from global electrification.
But how much more upside is there at current levels, given that markets are a good way to price in future growth? Have we seen all the upside for the time being? No, Meyer says, price action is still far short of some of the valuations that many are eyeing.
