Airbus sales beat Boeing at Farnborough, but defence the biggest loser

Sash Tusa, aerospace and defence analyst at Edison, says that while Boeing fell short of the number of orders received by Airbus at the Farnborough Airshow, UK defence contractors are the real losers from the event. Mr Tusa said that so long as there is little political will, in the UK, to raise defence spending the sector will fail to succeed at Farnborough.
