Kazakh Q1 current account deficit widens to $914 million

The current account deficit of Kazakhstan widened to $914.4 million in the first quarter from $125.3 million last year, the country’s central bank on Wednesday said.
Kazakhstan’s first quarter export plummeted 30.5 percent as oil and gas value condensate exports dropped 41.1 percent, while imports decline 27.8 percent year-on-year.
