The Japanese yen weakened versus the US dollar Monday, which bolstered Japanese stocks and exporter shares.

The currency traded at ¥108.11 to the US dollar following it touched a three-week low of ¥108.37. Against the euro, it was at ¥137.48.

Based on the figures from the Bank of Japan, corporate service prices grew 3.5% on year in September, unchanged from the last month.

Prices added 0.1% following it dived 0.2% in August. For the 3rd quarter, prices went up 3.5%.
