France’s CFDT head Laurent Berger said in an interview with Le Parisien on Wednesday that it would be “unacceptable” for the government to back down propose labor reforms in the light of CGT union-led strikes.

Berger also added that the government has failed by an “absence of pedagogy” about the reform benefits that has left the way clear for “radicalisms”.
