Bank of Canada appoints Sylvain Leduc as deputy governor

The Bank of Canada on Tuesday said Sylvain Leduc, a senior official at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, will replace Agathe Cote, as a deputy governor, effective May 2.
Agathe Cote retired in January. Leduc is vice president of microeconomic and macroeconomic research at the San Francisco Fed at present.
