Daniel Scioli, the ruling party candidate of Argentina, conceded defeat in the presidential election on Sunday after calling his challenger Mauricio Macri to congratulate him.
Scioli told supporters, “The Argentine people … have elected a new president, Mauricio Macri, who I have just congratulated by telephone”.
