At the close of the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones fell 0.69%, the S&P 500 fell 1.12%, and the NASDAQ Composite fell 1.26%.

Chevron Corp (NYSE:CVX) was the top performer among the components of the Dow Jones index today, gaining 4.41 points or 2.89% to close at 156.85. Home Depot Inc (NYSE:HD) rose 4.28 points or 1.47% to close at 294.94. Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:WBA) rose 0.41 points or 1.31% to close at 31.60.
The least gainers were Visa Inc Class A (NYSE:V), which shed 6.70 points or 2.90% to end the session at 224.58. Shares of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) were up 0.77 points or 2.54% to close at 29.51, while Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) were down 2.00 points (2.54%). 18%) and finished trading at 89.82.

The leading performers in the NASDAQ Composite Index today were CohBar Inc (NASDAQ:CWBR), which rose 223.23% to 5.01, HeartCore Enterprises Inc (NASDAQ:HTCR), which gained 92.19%. , to close at 2.46, and Lifecore Biomedical Inc (NASDAQ:LFCR), which rose 50.19% to close at 8.05.
The least gainers were Nanthealth LLC (NASDAQ:NH), which shed 46.64% to close at 1.35. Shares of T2 Biosystems Inc (NASDAQ:TTOO) shed 38.51% to end the session at 0.17. Microvast Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:MVST) dropped 36.36% to 1.40.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the number of securities that fell in price (1806) exceeded the number of those that closed in positive territory (1145), while quotes of 103 shares remained virtually unchanged. On the NASDAQ stock exchange, 1,926 companies fell in price, 1,629 rose, and 148 remained at the level of the previous close.
T2 Biosystms Inc (NASDAQ:TTOO) tumbled to all-time lows, down 38.51% or 0.11 points to close at 0.17.
The CBOE Volatility Index, which is based on S&P 500 options trading, rose 7.67% to 18.53.

Futures on the USD index rose 0.35% to 103.43.
