US stock market closes lower, Dow Jones down 0.17%

At the close on the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones fell by 0.17%, the S&P 500 index dropped by 0.46%, and the NASDAQ Composite index depreciated by 0.63%.
Among the growth leaders in the Dow Jones components at the end of today’s trading were shares of Boeing Co (NYSE: BA), which rose by 4.62 points (2.34%), closing at 201.88. Quotes of Salesforce Inc (NYSE: CRM) increased by 3.28 points (1.66%), finishing the trading session at 201.18. Home Depot Inc’s (NYSE: HD) securities rose in price by 2.65 points (0.92%), closing at 290.58.
The least gainers were shares of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC), the price of which fell by 0.67 points (2.18%), ending the session at 30.10. Shares of 3M Company (NYSE: MMM) rose by 1.54 points (1.50%), closing at 100.80, while Nike Inc (NYSE: NKE) dropped in price by 1.78 points (1.40%) and finished trading at 125.10.

As for other commodities, WTI oil futures for June delivery rose by 0.48%, or 0.35, to $73.51 per barrel. Brent oil futures for July delivery appreciated by 0.31%, or 0.24, to the mark of $77.25 per barrel.
Meanwhile, in the Forex market, the EUR/USD pair remained virtually unchanged, up 0.37% to 1.10, and the USD/JPY quotes increased by 0.09%, reaching the mark of 135.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures rose by 0.26% to 101.42.
