Dukascopy TV Team is back with this week’s final edition of the Economic Calendar for Friday, February 1st. A total of three reports regarding the Swiss economy open this agenda. First, the Consumer Climate report for January will be published at 6:45 in the morning. It is then followed by Retail Sales statistics for December at 7:30. The release of the Swiss PMI stats open the January Manufacturing PMI run at 8:30 AM. Italian Manufacturing data will then be available at 8:45, followed by Final French statistics five minutes later and the Final German figures at 8:55. The whole bloc’s overview will be out at 9 o’clock. According to the flash report, the index continued moving lower in January to settle just a half a percent above the 50-mark. The UK Manufacturing figures for January will then be released at 9:30 AM. Two strong months have resulted in the index jumping by more than 4 percent above the crucial 50 percent level. The Flash Euro Zone CPI for January continues the data run at 10 o’clock. The annual core inflation was unchanged at one percent in December, but the overall measure slowed down further below the two percent mark. Then there’s the high importance publication of the US Employment Report for January at 1:30 PM GMT. According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics, total non-farm payroll employment increased by 312,000 in December. Unemployment rate edged up by point 2 percent to 3.9 percent. A couple more January reports regarding the US economy wrap up this agenda at 3 PM GMT, including the high importance ISM Manufacturing PMI. The index dropped by more than five percent to 54.1 in December. The Final University of Michigan Survey is the other and the final report for this calendar.
