Euro/Dollar’s daily average spread is point 34 pips and maximum separation has been 2.6 pips. The pair rose by a total of point 79% or 89 pips before dropping from the high of 1 1352. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 5:41 PM GMT, but 2.6 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. The Cable’s long term average spread is 1 point 22 pips and both of the sides were 12.8 pips apart yesterday. Pound/Dollar took a sharp slide, plummeting by more than 2% or close to 300 pips. Spreads peaked at 12.8 pips yesterday and both of the sides were 4.7 pips apart as the pair was moving lower today. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 37 and 2.3 pips respectively. Past 24 hours have been bearish for the pair and it’s down by point 62% or 71 pips. Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 2.3 pips is the most you should have been charged.
