October Services PMI Tuesday is here, so let’s take a closer look at the potential FX market movers.
Italian Services PMI opens the data run at 8:45 in the morning. Final French stats will be available 5 minutes later. Final German numbers are then out at 5-to-nine and the whole bloc’s overview wraps up the PMI run at 9 o’clock. According to flash estimate, the index edged lower from September’s level of 54.7.
Euro Zone Producer Price Index for September is up next at 10 AM. Producer prices were up by point 3% in August and this was the fourth consecutive monthly increase.
Canadian building permits for September continue the data run at 1:30 PM GMT. Permits rose by point 4% in August, after plummeting by a massive 1 and a half percent in July.
US Economic Optimism for November will then be available at 3 PM. Economic Optimism Index rose by 3.8 percent in October to an overall reading of 57.8. The positive uptick is notable as it comes after September’s index dropped across every component.
A couple of New Zealand shakers wrap up this agenda. First up is the third quarter labour force survey at 9:45 PM. Unemployment rate rose by one tenth of a percent in the second quarter, but a pull back is expected this time around.
The high importance New Zealand Inflation Expectations report is the other and the final item on this agenda at 2 AM.
I’m Jack Everitt and that’s all for Tuesday’s Economic Calendar. Bye for now.
