Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 38 pips and maximum separation has been 1.1 pips. The trend has changed for this pair and the biggest move is a rise of point 32% or 36 pips. Spreads have been relatively low so far this week, peaking at only 1.1 pips yesterday at 11 PM GMT. The Cable’s daily average spread is 1.22 pips and both of the sides separated by 4.9 pips yesterday. Pound/Dollar has shot up by point 52% or 67 pips to hit the daily high of 1 2885. Spreads were bumpy for a while yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 4.9 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 48 and 1.1 pips respectively. Rate movement has been relatively calm, biggest move is a rise of point 22% or 25 pips. Spreads have stayed relatively low, max of 1.1 pips was posted yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT.
