The index declined more than expected in September from August’s level of 54.3. The high importance publication of the US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for October then follows at 3 PM GMT. Economic activity in the non-manufacturing sector grew in September for the 104th consecutive month as the index jumped above the 60 level. Japanese Household Spending stats for September will then be available at 11:30 PM. Spending jumped in August from July’s level of just point 1% to 2.8% in the green. UK Retail Sales Monitor for October is up next shortly after midnight. The index slipped into the negative territory after four months in the green. The high importance Reserve Bank of Australia Monetary Policy announcement wraps up this agenda at 3:30 in the morning. Cash rate has stood unchanged at 1 and a half percent since 2016.
