It is then busy with North American publications at 1:30 PM GMT. The Preliminary US Productivity and Costs report for the fourth quarter is one of them. Productivity jumped by 2.3 percent in the third quarter, while costs were up by slightly less than one percent. The US Trade Balance stats for November will also be available at this time. Trade deficit expanded to 55.5 billion US Dollars in October, which is the highest level in more than a decade. The Canadian Building Permits release for December wraps up the 1:30 PM data run. Municipalities issued 8.3 billion Canadian Dollars worth of building permits in November. This is 2.6 percent higher when compared with October. The Canadian Ivey PMI for January is up next at 3 PM GMT. The index gained two and a half percent in the final month of last year and it is on track to jump above the 60-level in this release. A potential Kiwi Dollar mover wraps up this agenda at 9:45 PM GMT, when the fourth quarter New Zealand Labour Force Survey is released. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 3.9 percent in September quarter. This was the lowest level in more than 10 years.
