The pair has moved slowly up, gaining point 31 percent or 35 pips to rise above the 1 13 level. Spreads have been as calm as the rate movement, both of the sides were 1.6 pips apart yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT. Next up is the Cable, which has a long term average and maximum spreads of 1.48 and 9.1 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar has made a move higher as well, the pair is up by point 37 percent or 47 pips. Spreads were bumpy yesterday at 11 PM GMT here as well, but 9.1 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average spread of point 42 pips. Maximum separation has been 1.9 pips. The daily high and low difference of 22 pips was posted as the pair gained point 19%, but it has since given up most of the gains. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 11 PM GMT here as well, but 1.9 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen.
