Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 37 pips and peak separation has been 1 and a half pips. The pair slipped below the 1 16 level briefly as it declined by point 51% or 60 pips. Spreads have been relatively calm so far this week, peaking at 1 and a half pips shortly before midnight GMT. The Cable’s daily average spread is 1.11 pips and both of the sides were 1.4 pips apart yesterday. Pound/Dollar’s trend has changed and the biggest move is a decline of point 29% or 37 pips. Spreads have been narrow so far here as well, maximum of 1.4 pips was posted yesterday at 11:14 PM GMT. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 29 and point 7 pips respectively. Daily high and low difference is 41 pips and it was posted as the pair declined by point 37%. No major separations have been recorded here as the maximum gap was just point 7 pips.
