Let’s find out if spreads have been shaken up during the past 24 hours.
Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged slightly above the point 3 pip mark in all three time scales. Peak separation has been 1.6 pips.
The pair has been trending higher, gaining a half a percent or 57 pips to rise further above the 1.14 level.
Spreads peaked at 1.6 pips yesterday at 11 PM GMT and both of the sides separated by point 6 pips during the past hour.
Moving on to the Cable, long term average spread is slightly less than one pip. Maximum separation has been 8.8 pips.
Pound/Dollar dropped yesterday by a total of point 58 percent or 74 pips, before rising from the low of 1 2707.
Spreads were bumpy for a while yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 8.8 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen.
And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 42 and 2.1 pips respectively.
Greenback rose against the Yen by a total of point 52 percent or 56 pips to hit the daily high of 109.
Spreads have been mostly narrow, peaking at 2.1 pips yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT.
