The Cable’s daily average spread is point 8 pips and maximum separation has been 2 and a half pips. Pound/Dollar has been on a slide from the high of 1 2937 and it has given up point 67% or 87 pips. Spreads were slightly bumpy yesterday at 6 PM GMT here as well, but 2.5 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen. Dollar/Yen’s daily average spread is point 33 pips and both of the sides were 1.9 pips apart yesterday. The pair has had a bullish run, gaining a total of point 66% or 73 pips. US FOMC Meeting Minutes sent the spreads slightly up yesterday at 6 PM, but 1.9 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed.
