EUR/USD & The Cable Trading Flat During Morning Session

The morning session is over on this Wednesday, so let’s look back at the rate movements and trader performance. Euro/Dollar has had a light session, walking in a total range of just 22 pips and attracting half of the usual funds. Sentiment of the traders is neutral, long positions are in the lead by only 3%. No significant shifts in trading accounts are likely here. Pound/Dollar has been calmer than usual as well, high and low difference is 44 pips. This pair sees 60% less than typical funds and most of them were in short positions. Flat rate movement and passive trading approach suggest no major profits or losses. Dollar/Yen rose by 41 pips, but most of the gains were given up afterwards. Turnover is typical and sentiment of the traders is neutral, 10% short. Bulls had plenty of profit chances during the early trading hours, but the change in trend was good news for bears. Pound/Yen rose by 61 pips before a correction took out some of the gains. Traded volume is extremely low and sentiment of the traders is bearish, short positions are up by 25%. Rise has brought some risks, but the passive trading approach is the cushion for losses. Euro/Yen hit the daily high after rising by 51 pips, but a reversal wiped out most of the gains. Traders have used just half of the monthly average funds trading this pair and sentiment is strongly bearish at 48% short. Traders saw some chances after the daily high was reached.
