Spreads were slightly bumpy today at 9 AM as Flash Euro Zone CPI and GDP were out, but 1.3 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen. The Cable’s daily average is point 81 pips and maximum separation of 1.4 pips was posted during the past 4 hours. Pound/Dollar rose in a couple of waves as the pair gained point 43% or 57 pips. Spreads were at their highest point today at 7 AM, but anything far above the max of 1.4 pips should be questioned. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 57 and 3.3 pips respectively. The pair surged above the 111 level as it gained point 76% or 84 pips. Both of the sides were 3.3 pips apart today shortly after 3 AM as the pair rose, but they moved back closer after a single tick.
