European markets have opened higher today, amid heightened speculation of additional monetary stimulus in China. Closer home, investors will watch economic data which is expected to reveal that the nation’s gross domestic product rose 0.7% QoQ in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared to a growth of 0.8% in the previous quarter. Earlier, a survey from GfK indicated that UK consumer confidence improved in March.
