April 19th 2013, Daily Market Bite from Ishaq Siddiqi Market Strategist

European markets have opened higher this morning, tracking gains in Asian markets, and as buying interest emerged among investors following steep losses earlier this week. However, investors remain cautious, ahead of the outcomes of the G-20 meeting in Washington and the third round of voting in Presidential elections in Italy. With no release of major domestic economic data during the day, investors are expected pay close attention to economic data for Eurozone which might show that current account balance swung to a surplus of €1.3 billion in February from a deficit of €4.5 billion in January.
