Welcome to the final day of Beat the Broker

It was a reasonably good night for me last night. I was left long on the S&P after a day of travelling and trading on my iPad, so apologies for no video yesterday. The S&P markets rallied overnight, so my S&P limits got taken out leaving me with a balance of 7,200, just under 50% up on the week, so it’s about 48. So, it’s looking pretty good.

Cable is pretty high at the moment so I want to see what the Dollar does around the open. I don’t want to play around on the long cable at the moment unless it makes a leg higher but again I still think the short dollar trade is the right trade. I’m going to watch that drift down and maybe enter at lower points and look for buying opportunities if it comes down and also look to enter if it breaks the highs of the last few days.

I think it will probably have some influence with what happens with the Euro. You’ve got Juncker potentially being announced as president today, that could cause some reaction and have some implications on where European politics could potentially go and the future of the Euro Zone.

Have a good days trading and let’s see how many of you can beat me before the competition closes at 16:30 today.

Joe
