Here’s an overview of the potential market movers scheduled for publication on Tuesday, the 18th of September.
A high importance speech by the ECB President Mario Draghi in Paris opens this agenda at a quarter past 7 AM.
We then head over the Atlantic for July Canadian Manufacturing Sales stats at a half past noon GMT. Oil and coal shipments drove sales higher in June and this was the second monthly rise in a row.
US NAHB Housing Market Index for September follows at 2 PM. Builder confidence slipped by 1 point to plus 67 in August, remaining firm.
US Treasury International Capital Data for July is up next at 8 PM. Taking into account transactions in both foreign and US securities, net foreign sales of long-term securities were 36.5 billion US Dollars in June.
The second quarter New Zealand Current Account stats will then follow at a quarter to 11 PM. Current account balance returned to the positive territory in the year’s opening quarter as a surplus of 182 million New Zealand Dollars was recorded. This follows three consecutive quarters in the negative territory.
Japanese Trade Balance for August is up next at ten to midnight. Trade balance returned to negative territory in July, dropping to 231.2 billion Japanese Yen in the red.
Australian Westpac-MI Leading Index for July wraps up this agenda at a half past midnight.
