Minutes from the FOMC October meeting were released yesterday; the statement showed policymakers to be inconclusive over the outlook for the economy and inflation. The Dollar surged to a seven-year high against the Yen, Japanese trade balance data did little to stop its momentum. Growth in China’s factory sector stalls.
