Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 32 pips over the past 24 hours and peak of point 6 pips took place about an hour ago. The pair rose by a total of point 41% or 47 pips, but most of the gains were given up afterwards. Spreads have been mostly calm, peaking at only point 6 pips today at 9 o’clock in the morning. The Cable’s long term average spread is point 81 pips and maximum of 1.3 pips was posted yesterday. Pound/Dollar has been on a slide, dropping by a total of point 59% or 77 pips to hit the daily low of 1 2893. No major separations have been recorded here and the max of 1.3 pips has occurred a total of 6 times over the past day. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 43 and 1 pip respectively. The pair moved South of the 111 level as it dropped by point 57% or 64 pips. Spreads were slightly up today minutes after 7 AM as the pair declined, but you shouldn’t have seen a separation bigger than 1 pip.
