Euro/Dollar’s daily average spread is point 53 pips and peak separation has been 2 pips. The pair took a sharp slide today and it’s point 6% or 69 pips down from yesterday’s high. Spreads were slightly bumpy yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 2 pips is the most you should have been charged. The Cable’s long term average spread is 1.55 pips and max separation has been 22.9 pips. Pound/Dollar spiked as it dropped sharply by more than 1% or 140 pips, but it rose back soon afterwards. Spreads were volatile yesterday shortly after 6 PM GMT, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 22.9 pips. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 7 and 3 pips respectively. The pair has moved south of the 113 level as it declined by a total of point 21% or 24 pips. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday shortly after 7 PM, but the max separation was just 3 pips.
