George Hollingbery, Minister for Trade Policy and International Trade of Great Britain, announced that the county is ready to conclude new trade agreements with the majority of third countries by the time of withdrawal from the European Union on March 29, 2019.
The British authorities are actively negotiating with many countries about the conclusion of new trade agreements and the revision of old ones. In total, Britain will have to review the conditions of about 40 trade deals concluded with third countries to date.
Hollingbery also noted that at the moment Minister for International Trade, Liam Fox, is meeting with colleagues from several countries to discuss further trade relations after Brexit.
