Will Dollar Hit a Wall?
Nothing seems to keep the U.S. dollar down as it was another great week for the greenback. Softer than expected job growth, more significant slowdown in wage growth and a relatively benign FOMC statement failed to stop the dollar from enjoying its 6th straight week of gains versus the Japanese Yen and 3rd straight week of gains against euro, sterling, aussie and other major currencies. Sterling continued to be the worst performer while the Japanese Yen and Canadian dollar were the most resilient.
