The pair has pushed above the 1 14 level as it gained point 68% or 77 pips. Past 24 hours have been generous in terms of economic data releases and spreads were bumped by the US data yesterday at 2 PM GMT, but the max separation was only 1.4 pips. Next up is the Cable, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 93 and 5.2 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar has rocketed above the 1 30 level as it jumped by a massive 1 and a half percent or close to 200 pips. The Bank of England sent the spreads up yesterday at noon GMT, but 5.2 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average of point 31 pips. Peak separation has been 1 and a half pips. Trend has been changing for this pair and the biggest move as a rise of point 49% or 55 pips. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 2 PM GMT as the US data was out, but the peak spread was just 1.5 pips.
