Flash Euro area PMI run for December opens this agenda at a quarter past 8 in the morning when the French stats will be published. Flash German PMI statistics will then be available fifteen minutes later, followed by the whole bloc’s overview at 9 AM. Both measures remain above the 50-mark, but they have been trending lower throughout the year as the pace of growth contracts. Advance US Retail Sales for November could shake up the Greenback at 1:30 PM GMT. Sales rebounded in October on motor vehicle and building material sales. This comes after a slight contraction in September. Then the US Industrial Production stats for November will be published at a quarter past 2 PM. Production edged up by one tenth of a percent in September and this was the fifth monthly increase in a row. The US Business Inventories report for October wraps up this calendar at 3 PM GMT. Inventories were up by point 3 percent in September, but they are expected to increase by point 6 percent this time around.
