Advance US Durable Goods & Jackson Hole Economic Symposium

This week’s final trading day is relatively light in terms of economic publications, but let’s see what are the potential market movers. The second quarter Final German Gross Domestic Product is out first at 6 o’clock in the morning. According to preliminary report, economy expanded at a quarterly rate of a half a percent during the three months to June 2018. Then the high importance Advance US Durable Goods report for July follows at a half past noon GMT. Advance report showed durable goods rising by 1% in June, but this reading was later revised lower to point 8%. The US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will discuss economy and monetary policy in Jackson Hole at 2PM GMT and this could be a potential Greenback mover. This annual economic symposium, sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has been held in Wyoming for more than 30 years now, focusing on important economic issues.
