Last 24 hours have been busy with economic news releases, but spreads have been mostly calm and the max of just 1.2 pips took place today at 7:30 AM. The Cable’s daily average is point 89 pips and maximum spread has been 4 pips. Pound/Dollar moved South in a couple of waves, declining by more than 1% or 134 pips to hit the low of 1 2415. Spreads were elevated for a number of ticks yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 4 pips is the most you should have been charged. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 38 and 3 pips respectively. Long term high and low difference is 154 pips and it was posted as the pair moved sharply down by a total of 1.34%.
