Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 33 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 2.2 pips yesterday. The pair moved sharply down today and it has lost almost 1% or 125 pips to hit the low of 1 2590. Peak spread of 2.2 pips took place yesterday and they were up to 1.6 pips today at 9 o`clock as the Euro Zone CPI and unemployment figures were released. Let’s move on to the Cable, which has long term average of 1.17 pips. Both of the sides were 3 and a half pips apart during the last 4 hours. Last 4 hours have been bearish for the Pound/Dollar, it has dropped by point 58% or 95 pips. The UK Final GDP was released today at 8:30 in the morning and that’s the time of the peak daily spread. Both of the sides stayed separated for a while, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 3.5 pips. And last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen. Daily average spread is point 32 pips and biggest gap has been 2.3 pips. The rate moved South yesterday, but since then it has gained point 53% or 58 pips to hit the high of 109 71. Spreads were slightly up yesterday at a half past noon GMT during the US personal income and spending release, but make sure your broker hasn’t charged you more than 2.3 pips.
