The US news releases shook up the spreads for this pair as well, but 3.6 pips is the most you should’ve seen. And Dollar/Yen’s long-term average and peak spreads stand at point 29 and 3.2 pips, respectively. The daily volatility of 60 pips was posted during a decline of point 53%, but the pair has since seen some upwards movement.
