It’s a new trading week and Dukascopy Forex TV Team is back with yet another primary Spike Controller. Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 3 pips so far this week, peaking at 1.4 pips. The pair rose sharply during the early trading hours, gaining point 86% or 91 pips to reach the high at 1 0686. Spreads have been mostly calm and the peak spread of only 1.4 pips took place yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT. The Cable’s daily average spread is 1.29 pips and maximum separation has been 7.1 pips. Pound/Dollar hit the high of 1 2532 after rising sharply, but a following drop has defined the daily high and low difference of 101 pips. Spreads were elevated for a while yesterday at 11 PM GMT here as well, but 7.1 pips is the most you should have been charged. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 53 and 3.1 pips respectively. The pair plummeted by a considerable 1.43% or 162 pips early in the session to hit the low of 111 36. No major spreads have been recorded so far this week as the maximum has been just 3.1 pips.
